Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Contractor (1099) to screen, assess, and treat students with communication impairments within school-based settings. You will focus on IEP-directed services, collaborating with families and teachers to maximize student learning outcomes.

The role requires a state SLP certification and ASHA SLP CCC, with the potential to supervise SLPA staff and CFYs. It is a remote contractor position open to residents in all 50 states and D.C.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Three (3) years of speech/language work experience in a public-school setting or equivalent.
• State SLP certification and ASHA SLP CCC required.
• Ability to work independently with typical school-hours availability (min 20 hours/week).
• Proficiency with MS365 and strong communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate students with suspected speech-language impairments.
• Provide case management of speech-only caseload.
• Implement services as determined by each student's IEP.
• Communicate with parents and teachers to coordinate schedules.
• Develop progress reports and other required documentation.
• Supervise Speech Language Pathology Assistants or CFYs as needed.
• Maintain records and collect data to monitor IEP goals.
• Provide rich therapy experiences and adapt to new technologies and platforms.
