Job summary

Imagine Learning seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat school-aged students remotely, with residency in Alaska. This part-time, hourly position reports to the Related Services Director and offers base pay plus incentives.

The role requires a Master's in communication disorders or SLP, SLP licensure or eligibility, Alaska licensure a plus, and teletherapy experience. Collaboration with parents and school staff is essential.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in communication disorders or SLP with 1 year in educational setting.
  • SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain.
  • Alaska Speech License and Educational Certification a plus but not required.
  • Completion of the Clinical Fellowship with ASHA CCC awarded.
  • Previous Teletherapy Experience preferred.
  • Experience with IEP meetings and comprehensive reports.
  • Experience with PK-12 school-based therapy.
  • Familiarity with a variety of speech and cognitive disorders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate with a team and families.
  • Literacy with electronic documentation.
  • Ability to comply with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech and language deficits virtually.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment programs to be completed virtually.
  • Collaborate with parents, school staff, and students regarding testing results and treatment.
  • Establish school and parent goals and expectations for treatment.
  • Create timely, accurate documentation for all students.
  • Maintain daily documentation for direct and indirect services.
  • Adhere to IEP timelines and compliance requirements.
  • Respond to data requests from parents, school, and company promptly.
  • Build professional relationships with teachers, facilitators, and other service providers.
  • Maintain communication with parents and school staff per guidelines.
  • Protect student confidentiality and FERPA compliance.
  • Respond within 24-hour windows when required.
  • Perform other duties as required.
