Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a School Based Counselor to provide telepsychiatry services for students in grades 5-12, working Monday through Friday with no weekends or holidays. The role offers a 40-hour work week, competitive pay range, and a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include individual and family therapy, assessments, treatment planning, and collaboration with school staff. Requires a Master's degree in a related field, state licensure within 6 months, CPI and CPR

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant human services field required.
• Associate licensure and/or certification in state of work within 6 months of employment.
• CP I and CPR training within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions within the school setting.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with school staff and community partners to ensure quality care and timely documentation.
• Provide behavioral health services as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Write discharge plans and ensure proper care coordination.
