Job summary

Kennebec Behavioral Health in Maine is seeking a School-Based Telecounseling Clinician to provide telecounseling services to middle and high school students within the school setting. The role collaborates with an on-site Community Health Worker to deliver counseling via a secure telehealth platform, assess needs, and develop treatment plans.

Qualified candidates have a Master’s Degree and full Maine licensure (LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT) and experience in behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree with full Maine licensure as LCPC, LCSW or LMFT.
• Experience in behavioral health treatment/outpatient therapy.
• Telehealth experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telecounseling services to middle and high school students in the school setting.
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Provide individual and family counseling and collaborate with educators, caregivers and community partners.
