Job summary

Advocate Health in Georgia is expanding School Based Services and seeks a passionate School Based Counselor to provide virtual therapy to students in grades 5-12 during school hours.

You will conduct individual and family therapy, assessments, and collaborate with school staff while maintaining HIPAA-compliant documentation.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule aligned with the school calendar, no weekends, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a relevant human services field is required.
• Must be issued an associate licensure/certification within 6 months of employment.
• CPI and CPR training required within 90 days of hire.
• Clinical experience preferred; case management experience with SMI or substance abuse is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions within the school setting.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with school staff and partners to ensure quality care and timely documentation.
• Deliver behavioral health services as part of a multidisciplinary team with psycho-education and various therapies.
