Job summary

Lydian Energy is seeking a Manager, Schedule and Cost Control to lead project planning, scheduling, cost estimation, and reporting for utility-scale solar and BESS projects. The role requires coordinating with Finance, Project Management, and Legal to ensure compliant, timely deliverables across the project lifecycle.

Remote nationwide position emphasizing open communication from field teams to leadership and setting up best-practice controls, audits, and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of experience as a project scheduler and cost controller in renewable energy or construction.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Cost/Earned Value experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, remotely.

Responsibilities

• Lead schedule and cost control on utility-scale solar and BESS projects in construction.
• Review EPC baseline schedules, monthly updates and pay applications.
• Ensure all project deadlines and deliverables are met.
• Develop and implement new project controls processes; conduct regular audits.
• Provide timely project controls reporting and KPI status to management.
• Coordinate with Finance and Procurement to maintain accurate cost forecasts and align with financial arrangements.
• Assist PM team with change requests and ensure compliance with contractual requirements (ITC/PTC).
• Identify and assess risks in milestone schedules and invoicing terms; propose mitigations.
