Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Software Asset Management (SAM) Analyst with strong SBOM experience to build and support an enterprise SBOM program. You will analyze SBOMs, manage licensing data, and connect SBOM information to ServiceNow assets.

You will work with Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk, Procurement, and Application Development teams to improve governance, compliance, and asset management across a large tech environment, primarily remote with East Coast hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Software Asset Management (SAM) or IT Asset Management.
• Hands-on experience with Software Bills of Materials (SBOMs).
• Knowledge of CycloneDX and/or SPDX formats.
• Experience with ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM).
• Familiarity with software licensing, entitlement management, and license compliance.
• Strong data analysis, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and analyze SBOMs and licensing data.
• Map SBOM components to software products and entitlement records in ServiceNow.
• Create reports, dashboards, and testing plans for SBOM/SAM enhancements.
• Collaborate with Dev, Security, Risk, and Procurement teams to improve governance.
