Fifth Third Bank’s Provide team is seeking a bold SBA Lending Consultant to help small business owners grow their legacies by originating and packaging SBA loans, educating customers, and collaborating with bankers and partners.

This remote Ohio role offers a base pay range of 54,400 to 111,500 USD annually, plus incentives and comprehensive benefits, with a focus on compliant SBA processes and customer-first service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years of experience in SBA lending, including hands-on SBA loan origination and servicing, familiarity with SBA loan packaging and submission platforms (e.g., SBA One).
• In-depth knowledge of SBA loan programs and SOPs.
• Demonstrated ability to structure and present compelling and compliant SBA loan deals.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and educate others.
• Experience partnering directly with bankers, business development officers, or sales teams.
• Experience navigating the SBA eligibility and underwriting process.
• Strong analytical and credit skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Comfort in customer-facing environments.
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated working style and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate SBA lending activities for SOP compliance and SBA policy adherence.
• Collaborate with internal partners to identify SBA-eligible opportunities.
• Assist in prospect conversations, loan structure support, and eligibility for underwriting approval.
• Help train front-line staff and internal partners on SBA programs and guidelines.
• Conduct sessions to update teams on SBA policy changes or program enhancements.
• Coordinate with attorneys, internal operations and closing partners for timely closings.
• Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and prepare documentation for SBA submission and approval.
