Voyager Lending is actively seeking an experienced SBA Business Development Officer to originate SBA 7(a) and USDA loans and develop new lending opportunities. You will build and nurture a broad referral network, gather complete financial packages, and shepherd opportunities from prospecting through funding with collaboration across credit, underwriting, and operations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or related field preferred.
• Prior SBA lending, commercial lending, business banking, or financial-services business development experience preferred.
• Experience originating SBA 7(a), USDA, or other government-guaranteed loans preferred.
• Working knowledge of financial statements, business cash flow, debt-service capacity, and commercial credit analysis.
• Strong sales, prospecting, relationship-management, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to independently develop and manage a pipeline of qualified lending opportunities.

Aufgaben

• Develop new business opportunities and originate SBA 7(a) and USDA loans.
• Build and maintain a strong network of referral sources (brokers, CPAs, attorneys, financial advisors, etc.).
• Obtain complete financial packages and prepare loan submission packages for credit analysis.
• Collaborate with credit, underwriting, closing, and operations teams through the loan process.
• Negotiate loan terms balancing borrower needs, credit risk, and company objectives.
• Maintain knowledge of SBA lending programs and regulatory requirements.
