Job summary

Allstate is seeking a SAP Accounting Master Data Senior Consultant to drive the integrity of enterprise financial data and enable accurate reporting and strategic decision-making. You will govern master data in SAP, lead enhancements, and partner with Finance, Technology, and Operations to optimize data frameworks.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience governing master data within SAP or similar ERP environments.
• Ability to solve complex problems and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the SME for SAP Accounting Master Data, ensuring integrity and governance of financial structures.
• Manage and maintain financial master data: GL accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, hierarchies, validation tables, and SAP objects.
• Align financial data structures with organizational objectives and evolving business needs.
• Analyze complex accounting and system issues, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
• Lead SAP enhancements, testing, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Finance, Technology and operations to drive data governance improvements.
• Develop controls and governance processes to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
• Translate financial concepts into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional projects to achieve business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve reporting.
