Cognizant in the United States is seeking a Salesforce Production Support Engineer to ensure stability and continuous availability of the Salesforce Service Cloud production environment. You will collaborate with development teams, business stakeholders, end users, and cross-functional tech colleagues to minimize disruption and deliver a seamless customer service experience.

The role emphasizes rapid incident response (L2/L3), proactive health monitoring, and root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Salesforce experience with production support in Service Cloud.
• Proven L2/L3 incident management within SLAs.
• Debugging across Apex, Triggers, Flows, LWC, and Aura.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and middleware integrations.
• Experience monitoring production, logs, governor limits, and batch jobs.
• Salesforce Administrator Certification.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification.
• Experience with Service Cloud case management, queues, and user admin.

Responsibilities

• Respond to, triage, and resolve L2/L3 production incidents.
• Troubleshoot issues across Apex, Flows, LWC, Aura, and integrations.
• Monitor production health, performance, governor limits, queues, and batch processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Support Service Cloud configuration, user administration, data management, releases, and change management.
