Job summary

Remote Jobs is seeking a Salesforce Platform Lead to own the Salesforce platform as a product. You will drive release health, security, engineering standards, and reusable patterns, while advancing AI-assisted delivery.

The role requires 6–10 years of Salesforce admin/development experience, Flow expertise, Apex/LWC skills, and Experience Cloud/Service Cloud experience. Remote, with 6-hour overlap to East Coast time, full-time for 12+ months.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of Salesforce administration and development experience with platform ownership responsibilities.
• Expert-level Salesforce Flow experience.
• Hands-on Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC) development.
• Experience with Experience Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Strong release management and CI/CD for Salesforce environments.
• Knowledge of security, sharing, permissions, and governance.
• Experience defining coding/configuration standards and PR reviews.
• Production environment ownership, sandbox strategy, backup, and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Own the Salesforce production environment, including releases, security, and sandbox strategy.
• Define coding and configuration standards; participate in pull request reviews.
• Build reusable reference patterns for Flow, LWC, and integrations.
• Lead P1 incident response with triage, remediation, and fixes with engineers.
• Drive a two-week release cadence with QA and product stakeholders.
• Manage ongoing technical debt capacity (roughly 10–30% of engineering capacity).
• Own AI-assisted Salesforce development toolchain and PR pre-review processes.
• Measure developer throughput when using AI-assisted workflows and identify frictions.
• Automate runbooks and release-note generation with human approval for risky deployments.
• Use AI copilots daily to accelerate discovery, development, testing, and documentation.
