Zim Directory is seeking a Salesforce Platform Lead to own the Salesforce production environment, drive release health, and enforce best practices across Flow, LWC, and integrations. This role focuses on governance, security, and scalable patterns while leveraging AI-assisted delivery in a global, remote-first setup.

The position requires 6–10 years of Salesforce experience, expert Flow and Apex/LWC skills, and a readiness to manage production incidents.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of Salesforce administration and development with platform ownership.
• Expert-level Salesforce Flow experience.
• Hands-on Apex and Lightning Web Components development.
• Experience with Experience Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Strong Salesforce release management experience.
• CI/CD for Salesforce environments.
• Security, sharing, permissions, and governance knowledge.
• Ability to enforce coding/configuration standards via PR reviews.
• Experience in production environments, backups, sandbox strategy.

Responsibilities

• Own the Salesforce production environment, including releases, security, and sandbox strategy.
• Define coding and configuration standards; participate in PR reviews.
• Build reusable reference patterns for Flow, LWC, and integrations.
• Lead P1 incident response with triage and fixes alongside engineers.
• Drive a release cadence of two weeks or less with QA and product stakeholders.
• Allocate and manage technical debt capacity (10–30% of engineering time).
• Own the AI-assisted Salesforce toolchain, including copilots and PR pre-review.
• Measure developer velocity and identify friction from AI-assisted workflows.
• Automate runbooks and release-note generation with human approvals.
• Use AI copilots daily to accelerate discovery, development, testing, and docs.
