Job summary

Lumen Technologies is seeking a Lead Salesforce Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions for field operations, providing technical leadership to a team of developers.

This fully remote role focuses on Salesforce Field Service, Work Orders, Service Appointments, and integrations via REST/SOAP, MuleSoft, and secure data exchange, with emphasis on AI-enabled capabilities and production readiness.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional software engineering experience
5+ years of Salesforce development with Service Cloud and Field Service
2+ years of Salesforce Field Service and Field Service Mobile App development
Strong experience configuring Salesforce Field Service capabilities like Work Orders, Service Appointments, and scheduling
Advanced skills in Apex, LWC, SOQL, Flows, Platform Events, Custom Metadata, triggers

Responsibilities

Lead design and implementation of Salesforce Field Service and SFS Mobile App workflows.
Own end-to-end design for field service capabilities including Work Orders and Scheduling Policies.
Develop scalable, secure Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Flows, and SOQL.
Integrate Salesforce Field Service with enterprise systems via REST/SOAP APIs and MuleSoft.
Design scheduling, routing, and dispatch capabilities to improve productivity and customer experience.
Provide technical leadership within Agile teams, review code, mentor engineers, and ensure production readiness.
Lead AI-enabled field service capabilities including recommendations and anomaly detection.
Evaluate Salesforce Agentforce use cases for field technician assistance and guided troubleshooting.
