Job summary

BodorLaser is hiring a Sales Engineer (remote) to develop and grow sales in North and South Carolina. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Mandarin, reside in NC/SC, and drive customer engagements from home while coordinating with global product teams.

The role requires strong English communication, CRM proficiency, and willingness to travel up to 25% within the territory. Relocation may be considered for candidates outside NC/SC.

Qualifications

• Must reside in NC/SC or be willing to relocate.
• 2–10 years of experience in sales or technical roles in machine tool/manufacturing.
• Excellent business communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with primary focus on NC/SC.
• Analyze market trends and report findings for sales strategy.
• Manage full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals and meeting targets.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations and Service teams to meet customer needs.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements.
• Assist in organizing trade shows, conferences, and events.
• Visit customer sites to maintain relationships and present solutions.
• Work with Product teams to align on equipment requirements and proposals.
• Prepare detailed proposals and presentations based on customer specs.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth sales processes and reporting.
