Job summary

JumpCloud is seeking a Sales Engineer (Pre-Sales) to partner with sales teams, deliver tailored product demonstrations, translate business pain into technical value, and assist prospects through trial and pilot phases. You will collaborate with direct and channel partners, enable teams, and help prospects achieve rapid time to value.

This remote-first US role requires fluent Spanish and English, strong communication, and knowledge of cloud/SaaS tech, Active Directory, and security protocols.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience in a technical Sales Engineering or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Cloud/SaaS technologies
• Strong understanding of Active Directory environments
• Understanding of network architecture
• Knowledge of authentication protocols (SAML, OIDC/OAuth, LDAP, RADIUS)
• Familiarity with MDM, RMM, or similar endpoint solutions
• Familiarity with MFA technologies (TOTP, WebAuthn)
• Experience configuring and deploying identity/directory solutions
• Experience with scripting languages (bash/Powershell)
• Experience with API integration and automation
• Experience with direct and channel/partner sales cycles
• Fluent in Spanish and English

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical trusted advisor for organizations evaluating JumpCloud
• Provide tailored product demonstrations
• Uncover customer pain points and align JumpCloud solutions to challenges
• Support direct and partner sales teams with product questions and skill development
• Build relationships with partners through technical enablement and co-selling
• Assist prospects with setup and configuration of free trials
• Provide technical Q&A to prospects during trials
• Assess prospect readiness to enter a formal sales cycle
• Advise on best practices for quickest customer time to value
• Identify common issues and potential product improvements
