Job summary

Myrias Optics is seeking a Sales Director to lead new account acquisition and accelerate pilots toward long-term production agreements. This hands-on, executive role demands a hunter mentality, deep-tech commercialization, and the ability to drive complex deals across AR/VR, defense, and datacenter markets.

You will own key customer relationships, coordinate with Asia foundry partners, and push pilots to scalable production while traveling internationally.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of B2B sales, business development, or strategic partnerships in photonics, optics, semiconductors, display technology, or AR/VR hardware.
• Proven hunter who opens new accounts and sources opportunities independently.
• Driver who owns follow-up and prevents stalled deals.
• Experience closing or co-leading complex tech agreements (pilots, JDAs, licensing, or supply).
• Asia Pacific experience traveling and doing business in Taiwan, Japan, or China.

Responsibilities

• Own top 25 strategic accounts and be the commercial face.
• Build and maintain partnerships with Taiwan foundry ecosystem, Japanese OEMs, and Chinese manufacturers.
• Manage active deals: track details, actions, milestones with discipline.
• Maintain HubSpot CRM: contacts, deals, pipeline reporting.
• Prepare customer-ready technical proposals, pilots, and data packages.
• Represent Myrias at industry events to build pipeline.
