Job summary

Net at Work is seeking a Sage X3 Functional Consultant to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient information systems for clients. You will translate business requirements into technical solutions, support sales with demos, and ensure client satisfaction throughout testing and delivery.

The role emphasizes strong business and analytical skills, 50% travel to client sites across the US, and collaboration with a team of experts to implement ERP solutions in distribution manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, quality assurance or equivalent work experience required.
• 5+ years of Sage X3 ERP implementation or implementation of similar ERP solutions (Epicor, Infor, Syspro, Chempax, Workday, ProcessPRO, MS Dynamics).
• Experience implementing ERP solutions within Distribution Manufacturing (BOMs, scheduling, shipping, EDI integrations).
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Experience leading requirements definition and design sessions through interviews, surveys, workshops, demos, etc.
• Proven track record delivering on objectives and performing against metrics.
• Ability to document business and technical designs and work in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong relationship and social skills to build a strategic external network.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis of client business processes and functional requirements.
• Prepare documentation to communicate and validate information.
• Analyze data and evaluate applications to recommend cost-effective solutions.
• Document functional requirements, workflow, and system specifications.
• Become familiar with client systems to identify integration points and advise.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations.
• Support sales with estimates, demos, and pre-sales responses.
• Manage and support client relationships, installations, and troubleshooting.
