Job summary

ElectriCom Inc seeks a Safety Specialist to support and coordinate safety programs across construction sites, working with the Senior Safety & Risk Manager to develop and enforce policies that meet OSHA and DOT requirements.

You will conduct job site safety audits, perform hazard analyses, lead training, investigate incidents, and communicate safety metrics to leadership. Travel up to 60% and bilingual English/Spanish communication are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience in construction safety, with demonstrated safety leadership.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is required for training and investigations.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and applicable safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain OSHA/DOT knowledge and apply regulations across sites.
• Conduct job site safety observations, audits, and hazard controls.
• Plan and deliver safety training programs and initiatives.
• Lead incident investigations and communicate corrective actions to leadership.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve safety metrics and culture.
