Job summary

EC APPLIANCES INC is seeking a proactive Safety Specialist to champion workplace safety and environmental compliance across our manufacturing facilities. You will develop, implement, and monitor safety protocols that protect employees while meeting regulatory standards, fostering a culture of safety excellence.

Responsibilities include audits, incident investigations, training on hazardous materials handling, and environmental compliance procedures.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing safety experience required.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental regulatory compliance.
• Experience in training and developing EHS programs.
• Ability to perform root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Familiarity with occupational health and environmental management systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs aligned with OSHA and environmental standards.
• Conduct safety audits, hazard assessments, and root cause analyses; implement corrective actions.
• Provide safety training on regulations, hazardous materials handling, first aid, CPR, and environmental procedures.
• Ensure compliance with EPA and hazardous materials regulations.
• Manage incident investigations, report findings, and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee health initiatives and maintain regulatory compliance documentation.
