Mutual of Omaha is seeking an IT Agile Project Manager to drive innovation by delivering new solutions and migrating legacy products for a newly formed team on the Premium & Claims Agile Release Train. You will support the software development lifecycle, coordinate work, clarify tasks, and aid prioritization, helping growth in Dental, Vision, and EAP solutions.

The role combines collaboration with technical and non‑technical stakeholders, SAFe acumen, and leadership development.

Qualifications

5+ years of IT project management experience.
5+ years of SAFe experience with ceremonies, roles and responsibilities.
Strong written and verbal communication; proficient with Jira, SharePoint and Microsoft Office.
Experience identifying opportunities for innovation and delivering solutions.
Ability to coordinate across technologies, domains and business functions.
Commitment to diversity, inclusion and collaborative teamwork.
Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into actionable user stories; bias for action.
Willingness to work remotely from the United States or Puerto Rico.

Responsibilities

Acts as Scrum Master in a SAFe environment, guiding cross‑functional teams.
Owns SAFe ceremonies: Daily Stand‑Up, PI Planning, Retrospectives, Backlog Grooming.
Collaborates with Product Owner and other teams across ARTs.
Builds high‑performing teams and strong stakeholder relationships.
Manages run, grow and transform work including charters, budgets and metrics.
Facilitates prioritization, tracks progress, and removes impediments.
Represents projects to IT and business partners in quarterly planning.
