Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a seasoned Rust Developer for a 100% remote role in the U.S. You will design, build, and optimize high‑performance distributed systems and cloud-native infrastructure with a focus on concurrency and security.

The role requires 6+ years in software engineering and 3+ years of hands‑on Rust production experience, plus strong knowledge of async Rust, REST/gRPC, and cloud platforms. Sponsorship is limited to certain visa categories.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Rust development in production.
• Strong Rust language knowledge: ownership, lifetimes, generics, macros.
• Experience with async Rust (Tokio, async/await, Futures, Actix or Axum).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and gRPC.
• Linux production environments and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes experience.
• Experience with distributed messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS, Pulsar).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance backend services in Rust.
• Build low-latency APIs and event-driven microservices.
• Develop networking apps using TCP/UDP/HTTP2/gRPC/WebSockets/QUIC.
• Build concurrent apps with Rust async ecosystem (Tokio, async/await).
• Ensure high availability and fault tolerance in services.
• Integrate with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis Streams.
• Implement secure APIs with OAuth2, JWT, mTLS.
• CI/CD and IaC for deployments.
• Participate in architecture and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues.
