Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies seeks an experienced Senior Rust Developer to design and build high-performance, secure distributed systems for enterprise applications.

The role is 100% remote in the United States and full-time with Direct W2. You will work with Rust frameworks such as Tokio, Actix Web or Axum, and contribute to scalable cloud-based services using modern tooling.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Rust development in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Rust, ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, traits, generics, and async programming.
• Experience with Tokio, Actix Web, Axum, or similar Rust frameworks.
• Experience building REST APIs, gRPC services, and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of Linux, networking, multithreading, and concurrent programming.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Redis, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS, or similar messaging platforms.
