1Password is seeking an Intermediate Developer on the Everyday Experience team. You will own complex systems end‑to‑end, contribute across surfaces, backend services, CI/CD, reliability, and operational workflows to improve customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Experienced developer with strong Rust knowledge.
• Able to own complex systems work end‑to‑end, from design through delivery and production support.
• Comfortable working across product surfaces, backend services, CI/CD, reliability, and operational workflows.
• Strong technical judgment and ability to make pragmatic tradeoffs across quality, speed, reliability, and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and maintain a solid understanding of your development toolchain and use it to contribute new features, improvements, and bug fixes across the team's codebases.
• Participate in the complete lifecycle of a feature: planning, development, release, and customer support.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability by developing new testing strategies, writing unit/integration tests, and documenting your work.
• Plan solutions ahead of coding, reuse patterns and best practices, and submit well‑documented merge requests.
• Review RFCs/RFDs, promote best practices in code reviews, and provide thoughtful feedback.
