Overview

1Password is growing. We’ve surpassed $400M in ARR and are accelerating. This internship is designed as a pathway to full-time employment upon completion, with a preference for candidates who have already graduated or will graduate by December 2026.

Our platform team is building the future of 1Password by empowering the development of ambitious new features. We focus on creating building blocks for features and are evolving a Confidential Computing platform, a robust developer tool-chain, and a public key infrastructure to support security and data privacy.

This is a remote opportunity within Canada or the US for a 4-month term (September to December 2026).

What you can expect

• Write Rust and Go code with a focus on reliability, quality and durability
• Contribute to feature design, development and release
• Document solutions and new designs
• Contribute to feature design, documentation, implementation, and releasing code to production
• Collaborate with team members by providing and receiving timely feedback on code submissions and design docs
• Uphold and contribute to team processes
• Remain curious and seek opportunities to expand and deepen technical knowledge and leadership skills
