Job summary

1Password seeks an Intermediate Developer on the Everyday Experience team to enhance core product surfaces with a focus on reliability, usability and trust. You’ll work across product surfaces, backend services, and CI/CD, collaborating with multiple teams to deliver high-quality features using AI-assisted development where appropriate.

USA- and Canada-based roles are remote, with compensation in the USD range and generous benefits including health, dental, 401k, and ample PTO.

Qualifications

• Experienced developer with strong Rust knowledge.
• Able to own complex systems work end-to-end, from design through delivery and production support.
• Comfortable working across product surfaces, backend services, CI/CD, reliability, and operational workflows.
• Strong technical judgment and ability to make pragmatic tradeoffs across quality, speed, reliability, and maintainability.
• Able to ramp into complex codebases and ambiguous problem spaces quickly.

Responsibilities

• Plan and contribute to the complete lifecycle of a feature from planning to release and customer support.
• Develop high-quality, well-documented code and implement robust testing strategies (unit/integration).
• Review proposals and RFCs, promote best practices in code reviews, and provide thoughtful feedback.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Security, and Infrastructure to deliver reliable, scalable features.
