Job summary

The CDC Foundation is seeking a Rural Health Transformation (RHT) Content Coordinator to support Kentucky’s Rural Health Transformation Program. This remote role requires collaboration with the Kentucky Department for Public Health and field teams to ensure clear, consistent messaging across multiple initiatives.

You will create and coordinate communications materials, support web content updates for ruralhealthplan.ky.gov, and help manage the editorial calendar to meet deadlines while aligning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, public policy, public administration, marketing or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in communications, public affairs, or strategic communications.
• Experience developing and executing communications strategies for large programs or portfolios.
• Ability to translate complex programmatic or policy information into clear messaging.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for executive, legislative and public audiences.
• Ability to coordinate messaging across organizations and functions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate execution of strategic communication plans and direct production of materials.
• Establish and maintain clear narratives that articulate objectives and outcomes for diverse audiences.
• Track execution and surface risks to keep communications on course.
• Co-develop systems to enable fast, consistent messaging across a multi-vertical portfolio.
• Draft, edit and format communications materials and web content.
• Prepare briefing documents and presentations for program leadership.
