LanguageLine Solutions LLC is hiring remote Rundi-English interpreters working from home in the United States. This independent contractor role focuses on real-time interpretation across healthcare, government, insurance, finance, and more, with required quiet home-office setup and dedicated device.

Responsibilities include prompt interpretation, accurate conveyance of meaning, and maintaining professionalism while handling sensitive sessions, including emergencies.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Rundi and English with cultural awareness.
• Industrial/sector familiarity desirable (healthcare, government, finance, etc.).
• Experience in language-related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to interpreting sessions promptly and conduct interpretation professionally.
• Render correct concepts and meanings according to interpretation protocol.
• Speak clearly in both languages with proper pronunciation.
• Maintain a professional demeanor throughout sessions.
• Remain calm during sessions in emergencies (e.g., 911).
• Maintain punctuality and availability during work hours.
• Follow client instructions to ensure LEP needs are met.
• Understand protocols for Medical, Insurance, Finance and Law industries.
• Demonstrate commitment to cultural sensitivity and diversity.
