Qualifications

• / Fluency in Sunda and English, with cultural dynamics understanding.
• / Ability to provide cultural competency and assess regional/accent differences.
• / Excellent listening, retention and note-taking for accurate interpretation.
• / Maintain neutrality and manage sensitive topics on calls.
• / Education or work experience in language-related fields preferred.
• / Adapt to LanguageLine technology enhancements.
• / Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the US.
• / No visa sponsorship required for employment with LanguageLine Solutions.
• / Reading and writing the requested languages is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to interpreting sessions promptly and professionally.
• Render correct concepts according to interpretation protocol.
• Speak clearly in both languages with proper pronunciation.
• Maintain professional demeanor during sessions.
• Remain calm on calls, including emergencies like 911.
• Maintain punctuality and availability during work hours.
• Follow client instructions to meet expectations.
• Understand protocols for medical, insurance, finance, and law sectors.
• Demonstrate commitment to cultural sensitivity in a diverse environment.
• Handle emotionally intense calls while meeting company service standards.
