Qualifications

• Fluency in Rundi and English; skilled in cultural dynamics.
• Ability to assess regional/accent differences for LEP communication.
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking for accuracy.
• Must be able to read and write requested languages; background checks may apply.

Responsibilities

• Respond to interpreting sessions promptly and professionally.
• Render correct concepts according to interpretation protocols; avoid omissions/additions.
• Speak clearly in both languages with proper pronunciation and courtesy.
• Maintain a professional demeanor during sessions.
• Remain calm during sessions, including emergency calls (911).
• Follow client instructions to meet expectations and respect LEP boundaries.
• Understand industry terminology (Medical, Insurance, Finance, Law).
• Demonstrate commitment to cultural sensitivity and diversity.
