Job summary

Distance Learning Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Response to Intervention Specialist to support qualifying students and families through the RTI program in a virtual schooling environment. You will collaborate with school personnel and parents to implement intervention plans.

This full-time, exempt role is based in Oregon with a remote office. Work hours are 9 months, Monday–Friday 8:00–5:00, and the annual salary is $73,282.82.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and Oregon teaching license required.
• Endorsements as required by the Oregon Department of Education with appropriate assignment endorsement.
• RTI, reading and/or math intervention experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement RTI policies and procedures.
• Plan and conduct parent/student meetings via technology.
• Maintain records of student progress and use data to inform instruction and recommendations.
• Provide consultation to families on evidence-based curricula and instructional strategies.
• Coordinate with school teams to determine referrals for special education evaluation.
