This full-time, exempt position reports to the Assistant Special Education Director and requires a Bachelor's degree with a current Oregon teaching license and endorsed qualifications. The role emphasizes collaboration, data-driven instruction, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Current State of Oregon Teaching License
• Endorsements as required by the Oregon Department of Education with the appropriate endorsement in areas of assignment; RTI Specialists must have obtained the TSPC Elementary-Multiple Subjects, OR TSPC Special Education: Generalist or its equivalent license endorsement OR TSPC Reading Intervention

Responsibilities

• Implement RTI policies and procedures.
• Plan and carry out regular and required parent/student meetings via technology platforms.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and use data to guide instruction and recommendations to families.
• Provide consultation to parents on evidence-based curriculum and interventions that meet student needs.
• Coordinate with parents, administrators, and other professionals for referrals and evaluations.
