Job summary

NANA Regional Corporation is seeking a highly experienced Pilot-in-Command (PIC) to plan, prepare, and execute flights under FARs, company procedures, and SOPs. You will be the final authority for aircraft safety and mission success, leading crew and ensuring regulatory compliance in challenging Alaskan environments.

Ideal candidates have strong leadership, judgment, and CRM skills, with extensive flight hours, medical clearance, and familiarity with western Alaska operations.

Qualifications

• Must hold Commercial Pilot certificate (appropriate category and class) and Instrument rating.
• A valid aviation medical certificate is required.
• Experience flying in western/bush Alaska is needed.
• Minimum 2,500 hours of flight time with cross-country, night, and IFR hours.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute flights per Operations Manual and FARs.
• Ensure safe, efficient conduct of flights and log maintenance actions.
• Oversee loading, weight and balance, and pre-flight inspections.
• Maintain flight and maintenance logs with accurate times and notes.
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel to ensure airworthiness directives are current.
