Job summary

Tyonek Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Fixed Wing Pilot in Command (PIC) to support an in-house flight department in Alaska. The role involves operating a mixed fleet under 14 CFR Part 135/91 for executive transport, crew changes, surveillance, and offshore logistics.

The PIC is responsible for safe flight conduct, aircraft safety, and crew/passenger/cargo security, with duties spanning pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight activities to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Multi-engine rating required.
• FAA ATP certificate and a type rating if required.
• Valid FAA first class medical certificate.
• Twin Otter experience preferred.
• Have at least 3,000 hours flight time
• 1,000 hours flight time as Turbine PIC
• US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• The Pilot-in-Command (PIC) is accountable for the safe conduct of assigned flights.
• Ensure the aircraft is airworthy and compliant with regulations, manuals, and SOPs.
• Coordinate pre-flight and post-flight duties with maintenance and operations.
• Maintain currency with certifications, flight experience, and company documents.
• Promote Crew Resource Management and safety during all operations.
