Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a field-based professional to support the HUGO surgical robot program across hospitals. The role requires residing within 50 miles of Long Island, NY, and travel across the territory with substantial field presence.

Primary responsibilities include stakeholder meetings, surgeon training coordination, staff coaching, and close collaboration with Medtronic field service engineers to ensure successful integration of the robotic system. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of clinical, sales or related experience, or Advanced Degree with 0 years of related experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Meet with robotic program stakeholders and develop program goals and metrics for HUGO RAS-system.
• Develop a surgeon training plan and coordinate attendance at Medtronic’s off-site training.
• Coordinate staff training and support through their learning curve.
• Support technology adoption by participating in cases during learning sessions.
• Engage clinical stakeholders using change management to gain buy-in.
• Coach hospital staff to sustain improvements in operational excellence.
• Collaborate with field service engineers to prepare OR for the HUGO RAS-system.
• Track milestones to demonstrate value for the pilot site.
