Job summary

Inova Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Virtual Acute Care in Virginia. This full-time role requires a 36-hour work week with a rotating schedule and four weekend shifts every six weeks. After six months, eligible for one remote day per week, subject to policy.

Qualifications

• RN with 1 year of experience in a critical care setting or completion of a critical care fellowship.
• BLS from the American Heart Association; ACLS within 6 months; PALS within 6 months for pediatric units.
• Virginia RN license or eligible for licensure (multistate license)

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient health assessments by interpreting data sets.
• Develops care plans based on assessments and trends.
• Coordinates care and transitions with other disciplines.
• Documents all patient care activities per standards and assists with documentation.
• Evaluates processes to improve outcomes and adjust plans.
