Job summary

Abbott is seeking an RN trainer to provide Face-2-Face training to home testing customers for PT/INR equipment. The per-diem position travels to customers’ homes within the trainer’s general geographic area, delivering demonstrations and documenting outcomes.

A current RN license and clinical experience are required, with preferred homecare exposure and health education skills. Travel is essential; access to a laptop and printer is necessary, with a positive, professional demeanor and strong

Qualifications

• Trainer must have clinical experience and be a currently licensed RN.
• Direct exposure to anticoagulation management or homecare is preferred.
• Health education training is a plus.
• No lifting over 15 pounds required without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Remotely set up training appointments with customers or caregivers.
• Travel to customer homes within a general geographic area.
• Demonstrate and instruct on PT/INR equipment use and care.
• Explain test reporting options and communicate professionally.
• Document training records electronically and maintain contact via phone/email.
