Qualifications

• Current unrestricted RN license in a US state or territory.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred; related work experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing clinical assessment via telephone to evaluate the injured worker's injury and needs.
• Effectively communicates with claims examiner, client, injured worker, attorney and supervisor.
• Identifies delays in recovery or return to work and solves problems creatively.
• Negotiates treatment and disability duration with providers following guidelines and quality standards.
• Identifies opportunities to expedite care for cost containment and timely recovery.
• Maintains client privacy and adheres to regulatory standards.
