Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring for a Telephonic Case Manager. This remote, full-time role involves coordinating medical care and advocating for injured workers to facilitate recovery and timely return to work.

You will assess clinical needs by phone, communicate with clinicians and claims staff, and develop strategies that balance patient care with cost containment, all while upholding privacy and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted RN license in the United States is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Certification in case management or related specialty highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing clinical assessment via telephone to evaluate injury and treatment needs.
• Communicate effectively with claims examiner, client, injured worker, attorney, and supervisor.
• Identify barriers to recovery and collaborate on return-to-work strategies.
• Negotiate treatment plans and disability duration with providers per guidelines.
• Identify opportunities to expedite care for cost containment and timely recovery.
• Promote client privacy, safety, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
