Job summary

SCAN Group in Long Beach (CA) seeks an RN leader to oversee Medical Management clinical staff and departmental adherence to protocol and regulatory standards. You will assess performance, develop education, and drive performance improvement plans.

The role requires an RN license, 2–3 years in the field, and inpatient Utilization Management experience, with Medicare Advantage knowledge and strong collaboration skills. Mostly remote with monthly HQ travel.

Qualifications

• RN licensed nurse with 2–3 years of related leadership experience.
• Experience with inpatient Utilization Management.
• Medicare Advantage knowledge.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight to Medical Management clinical staff and operations.
• Assess staff performance and develop education and performance improvement plans.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, DMHC, DHCS, NCQA and internal policies.
• Audit quality and outcomes; coach and escalate as needed.
• Guide staff on complex clinical issues and escalation pathways.
• Support policy/procedure development and training materials.
