Job summary

Actalent is seeking an experienced Care Management Supervisor (RN) to lead a remote Adult Case Management team in California. You will oversee staff performance, drive outcomes, and foster collaboration with providers, members, and community organizations.

The ideal candidate holds a CA RN license, a nursing-related bachelor's degree, and at least 5 years of clinical care experience with 3 years in leadership and 2 years in managed care.

Qualifications

• Current, active California RN license.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years clinical healthcare experience.
• Minimum of 3 years leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting.
• Minimum of 2 years managed care experience.
• Experience with case management, care coordination, utilization review, and healthcare program oversight.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, clinical documentation, and care management best practices.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to supervise and motivate remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Adult Case Management staff in a remote environment.
• Monitor productivity, performance metrics, and quality standards to ensure program success.
• Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, training, and professional development to team members.
• Facilitate effective communication between staff, members, and healthcare providers.
• Address employee performance concerns and support resolution of staff-related issues.
• Review workflows and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and member outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support care management initiatives and organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and clinical best practices.
• Support utilization review and care coordination activities as needed.
• Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
