Job summary

Abbott is seeking a per-diem RN trainer to deliver home-based training for Acelis Connected Health’s PT/INR products across the United States. The role includes remotely scheduling sessions, traveling to patients' homes, and guiding caregivers on device use and reporting options.

Candidates should be a licensed Registered Nurse with clinical experience, preferably with anticoagulation or homecare exposure. Strong communication, reliability, and HIPAA-compliant practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license.
• Prefer direct anticoagulation/homecare experience.
• Health education experience is a plus.
• No lifting over 15 pounds required without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Remotely arrange training appointments with customers
• Travel to customers' homes within the Trainer's geographic area
• Demonstrate proper use and care of PT/INR equipment
• Explain reporting options for tests
• Maintain professional communication and documentation
• Submit training records electronically
• Use encrypted email to protect PHI
• Maintain reliable personal transportation
