CorVel Corporation is seeking a caring, self-motivated registered nurse to fill a Medical Case Manager role across Georgia including Newnan, Columbus, LaGrange, Fayetteville, Stockbridge and Metro Atlanta. The position involves work from home and travel, with typical hours Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state of operation
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing
• National certification (CCM/COHN/CRRN/CDMS) preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person and telephonic Medical Case Management.
• Discuss current treatment plans with physicians and discuss alternatives.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient progress.
• Evaluate treatment plan for medical necessity and cost effectiveness.
• Attend doctors’ visits and discharge planning conferences.
• Travel locally up to ~60% of time and may include overnight travel.
