Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Patient Access & Care Team. The role requires a BSN and at least five years of RN experience, with weekend 12-hour shifts and a 50-mile commuting window.

You will engage in quality initiatives, apply the nursing process, and collaborate with the care team while maintaining EHR documentation and adherence to safety standards. Expect strong communication and continuous professional development.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• 5+ years RN experience required.
• Active RN license in relevant state(s).
• BLS certification required.
• Must live within 50 miles of call center (Mint Hill or Winston-Salem).

Responsabilités

• Engages in unit councils, governance and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ensures documentation accuracy.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Communicates effectively and promotes team collaboration.
• Pursues ongoing professional development and maintains certifications.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and provides unbiased patient care.
• May float to other units as needed; age-appropriate patient care.
• Maintains timely EHR documentation.
