Carolinas Medical Center is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse to join the Patient Access & Care Team in NC/GA. The position requires BSN and active RN licensure with at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Weekend days are included with a mid-shift schedule; the nurse must reside within 50 miles of Mint Hill or Winston-Salem call center. Responsibilities include delivering evidence-based nursing care, collaborating with the care team, maintaining documentation, and ensuring patient

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) served.
• BLS certification is required.
• BSN preferred.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsabilités

• Engages in unit councils, governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocol.
• Maintains accurate EHR documentation.
• Floats to other units or facilities as needed.
