Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for 24 hours per week in the Mint Hill call center area. The role requires a BSN and at least 5 years of RN experience, with shifts including 12-hour weekend coverage within a 50-mile radius of the Mint Hill or Winston-Salem centers.

Responsibilities include using the nursing process, promoting patient safety, and coordinating with the care team to achieve optimal outcomes. Strong communication and clinical judgment are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) of operation.
• BLS certification; telehealth/virtual modalities licensure compliance may apply.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Use nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans with the team.
• Uphold a culture of safety and accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocol.
• Communicate effectively and delegate appropriately.
• Pursue professional development and maintain certifications.
• Float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
