Qualifications

• Must have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• CMS Long-Term Care Basic Training and SMQT completed.
• At least two years of surveyor experience.
• RN licensure active.
• Ability to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site surveys of facilities to determine compliance with Federal standards.
• Prepare, tour, observe care, review records, and interview staff and families.
• Assess quality of care and residents' rights across facilities.
• Communicate non-compliance findings and assist with corrective plans.
• Lead or work as a team member on various survey types.
