Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Active RN license required.
• 5+ years clinical nursing experience.
• 5+ years healthcare experience.
• Experience auditing, compliance reviews, or related healthcare auditing preferred.
• Experience with medical coding, DRG validation, CDI, or revenue cycle operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance and auditing principles.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct compliance, clinical, and revenue audits across hospital service lines and locations.
• Review medical records, charges, and coding for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Audit facility coding and DRG assignments to identify concerns.
• Analyze findings to identify control gaps and process improvements.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with leadership to monitor action plans and strengthen controls.
• Prepare clear audit reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Verify effectiveness of corrective action plans and ongoing initiatives.
• Maintain knowledge of healthcare regulations and reimbursement methodologies.
