Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Active RN license required.
• Five+ years of clinical nursing experience.
• Five+ years of healthcare experience.
• Experience with audits, compliance reviews, or related healthcare auditing preferred.
• Knowledge of coding, CDI, DRG, and reimbursement concepts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct compliance, clinical, and revenue cycle audits across hospital service lines and locations.
• Review medical records, charges, and coding for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Audit facility coding and DRG assignments to identify issues.
• Analyze findings to identify control gaps and process improvements.
• Develop action plans with leadership to strengthen internal controls.
• Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
