Qualifications

• RN license active and in good standing.
• Minimum 5+ years of clinical nursing experience.
• 5+ years of healthcare experience.
• Auditing, compliance reviews, or related healthcare auditing preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and auditing principles important.
• Strong written communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct compliance, clinical, and revenue audits across hospital service lines and locations.
• Review documentation, charges, and coding for accuracy and compliance.
• Audit facility coding and DRG assignments for concerns.
• Analyze findings to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risks.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and monitor corrective action plans.
• Prepare clear audit reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Verify completion and effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Maintain knowledge of regulations, coding standards, and reimbursement methods.
